What I wish I was doing right now:
Making chilli jam
Finishing a crotchet project
Baking a chocolate and beetroot cake
Sew, sew, sewing
Knitting something useful for someone
Baking pumpkin muffins

hashbrowns.
I have an addiction to hashbrowns. I thought I just really liked them, but I have come to realise. I am addicted. I understand that hashbrowns aren't the classiest of foods (or the healthiest). So I try and dress mine up with a little bit of salad.

Hashbrowns with spinach, carrot, apple, walnut and lime salad.

working.
This morning I worked for my mum. She owns her own interior design business, and is crazy busy at the moment. All I had to do was pick up some cushions and take back a whole lot of fabric samples to various fabric houses in Melbourne. It's a pretty good deal.
Our house was recently published in Home Beautiful magazine and named House of the Month. See here for more.

market
Today my brother and I had a stall at the Camberwell market. We have lots of old clothes that we needed to get rid of, and we booked the stall 6 months ago!
So today we got up bright and early and made our way down to the market. As you can see from the darkness in the photos it was REALLY early. 5.30am to be exact.
To add to the incredible early start, it was also freezing cold and rained for the first 2 hours. We were constantly putting tarps over the clothes, and then taking them off again.
But all in all we had an extremely successful day and managed to sell almost all of our clothes, and made a fair bit of money in the meantime!

booties

This week, one of the mum's I work for is due to have a baby. This is baby number 4 for this family! I made these booties once before for a girlfriend from uni who was having a baby, but I didn't know the sex of the baby last time. This time I know it's going to be a gorgeous little girl, so I could have a little more fun with choosing fabrics. They are so quick and easy to make, and super cute also!

finally finished...
My camera is broken at the moment, which is really annoying, because all I want to do at the moment is take photos and blog about it!
So for now I'm gonna steal other peoples pictures instead :)
A little while ago, I mentioned that I took on the task of organising hoodies for my uni class, as it is out last year! Well, after what seems like ages they are finally ready! We handed them out at uni on Monday, and everyone seems really happy with them.
Personally, I think they are a little bit boring, but they were super cheap, so I guess it's alright.
Here are a couple of my classmates modelling them:

The front has the Melbourne Uni logo, with a couple of child's handprints, and the back says BECE 2010. Which stands for: Bachelor of Early Childhood Education.
